Meet Sarah
THE HEART OF WARD 2
Sarah has the energy, integrity and experience to get the job done in the right way.
Born and raised in Halton, Sarah and her family have called Oakville’s West Harbour home for 16 years. The family values that make Oakville such a fantastic place to live form the basis for Sarah's dedication to representing her Ward and Town at Council and Regional levels. The newest addition to Sarah's family is an Australian Labradoodle named Louis. You may catch him walking around the Ward with Sarah and her daughter Olivia on any given day.
Sarah has a lengthy and extensive background in media sales, dealing with multinational clients in all sectors over her past career - representing many publications including TIME Canada, Canadian Living, and Elle Quebec.
She has previously held leadership volunteer positions as President and Board member at both Toronto French School and Appleby College. She has volunteered and trained at MacLachlan College, Distress Centre Halton, UBC Food Bank, and Toronto Botanical Gardens.
Sarah is a graduate of York University and The University of British Columbia. Most recently, she has taught English to adults one on one. Sarah considers herself a life long learner who thrives when being challenged.
